FAQ

QUESTION

ANSWER

We understood that our son should only pick 2 electives but the website is asking for 3 electives as well as 2 alternatives.

Can you help me understand?

If he is taking only semester of Math (Accelerated Algebra I or Geometry Honors), he will have an additional elective.  He HAS THE OPTION to double up in Math if that’s the case, or choose another elective.

The two alternates are choices if his first choices are closed by upper classman.

If I take Honors Integrated Science I, and cannot fit Biology Honors in because I’m taking a Foreign Language, Band, or Chorus, can I take the Biology I Honors as a sophomore.

The answer is absolutely you can!

If I’m doubling up in math or science, where do I make those choices? Those choices are made under your elective options, and if chosen will take the place of elective choices.

PLEASE NOTE:  THESE QUESTIONS APPLY TO INCOMING FRESHMEN SCHEDULING ONLY.  ANSWERS MAY NOT BE APPLICABLE TO UPPERCLASSMEN.
