On Thursday, March 30th, the English 2 Honor students of Ryle High School will be hosting a community event to highlight the issue of injustice and give our community the tools to fight it.
For several weeks now, students have been planning, researching, writing, and interviewing to make this event possible. I Stand for Justice, the view students have been promoting, will be a hopefully ongoing tradition in our school and community. The purpose of the event is to open our community's eyes to the injustice going on right at our doorsteps. The program will feature several interviews with people from our community on many diverse topics. Alongside firsthand accounts will be messages of hope and information on how to improve our community through tolerance.
The event will take place in the Ryle High School auditorium, Thursday, March 30th, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and anyone is welcome to attend. While there is no admission fee, attendees are encouraged to bring a jar of peanut butter & jelly to support Go Pantry or a monetary donation to support one of several support organizations in attendance
