Attention all 6th and 7th grade artists! Student Agenda

How would you like to see your own artwork on the cover of our GMS agenda for the 2017-2018 school year? 
All interested artists should submit your artwork to Ms.Tracy or Ms.Twaddell by Monday April 3.  Artwork should be completed on a piece of 8 ½ by 11 paper.  The theme of the artwork should be

Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, Jr Music Man Jr

Gray Middle School is proud to present Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, Jr featuring all the excitement, Iowa stubbornness, Well’s Fargo Wagon, Seventy Six Trombones, and all the great tunes from this musical theater classic! The cast and crew have outdone themselves and hope to see you at the show! The performance will start at 7pm on April 21-22, 2017 at Ryle High School.  Presale tickets are available through Mrs. Barton and forms can be accessed by clicking here.  Tickets will also be sold at the door.

GMS, SBDM Elections for the 2017-2018 School Year!

Please consider running for a position on the GMS SBDM Council!

Site (school) Based Decision Making councils promote shared leadership among those who are close to the students. Membership of each council includes parents, teachers, and an administrator to the school. The council has the responsibility to set school policy and make decisions outlined in KY statute, which should provide an environment to enhance student achievement. 

Parents or Guardians of Gray Middle School students going into the 7th or 8th grade and/or incoming 6th grade, who are interested in running for a position on Site Based Decision Makeing (SBDM) Council, are encouraged to express interest and declare intent. Please see attached flyer for more detail.

FRYSC DONATIONS Family Resource Center


Did you know that 32% of children in Boone County Schools are considered to be living in poverty, and that 1% of those children are homeless?  You can help provide these children with basic items like clothing, personal hygiene items, food, and cleaning supplies by donating to the Boone County Schools’ FRYSC at Gray Middle School.   Family Resource & Youth Services Center 

Items requested for March:  Deodorant, laundry soap, hair brushes.

School Tryout Reminders!

Tryouts require you to bring an Athletic Consent-Insurance Form and have a current Sport Physical Form on file at GMS.  These forms are a must to be eligible for tryouts.


GMS Spirit Days!
Students you can wear sweat pants on spirit days provided you wear a Gray, Ryle, or Cooper shirt OR you wear a blue, orange, or gray shirt with the sweat pants.
