I want to begin by saying thank you for the opportunity to have served as your PTSO President last year and I am very excited to serve again for the 2017-2018 school year. It is truly an honor to serve as your President. Also, I am blessed with having the incredible support of the entire CEMS PTSO Board, Teachers, Staff and the Parents.
I am a CIPL Fellow, class of 2011(Commonwealth Institute of Parent Leadership). Since becoming a CIPL fellow I have been given the opportunity to visit Frankfort and sit in on the Education committee meetings, talk with some of our senators, been asked to sit on Boone County District groups and attend PTA advocacy training.

I then went back to work with my family at Will-Son Distributing Company. My husband, brother and I currently run the day to day operations of our family business.
Personally, I am originally from Reading, Ohio. I moved to Boone County my freshman year of college. I have 4 children, Lauren, Alex, Ava and Will. Currently I work at New Haven Elementary School and have worked as a Speech Therapist for Boone County Schools for three years.
I have thoroughly enjoyed serving on the CEMS PTSO Board. This is my sixth year on the board, serving initially as Membership Chair and currently as Co-Chair of Dances. It has allowed me to meet a wonderful group of parents, teachers, and an administration who care a great deal for the well-being of the school and its students!

My husband, Paul, and I moved from Chicago to Burlington, KY about 12 years ago. We are thrilled to be back in Kentucky closer to our family in Eastern Kentucky.
