Board Of Education

The Boone County Board of Education is the official policy making body for the Boone County School System. The Board, along with the Superintendent, sets the school system's mission and goals. The Board of Education holds meetings throughout the year on a regular schedule. The five board members are elected from individual divisions. One non-voting student member also serves on the Board. The Boone County Board of Education meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Ralph Rush Professional Development Center (99 Center Street in Florence) unless otherwise noted on meeting agenda. The board meeting briefs of the past meetings and agendas for future meetings can be found on the right hand side of this page.
