  • Term 2 grades

    Term two work and grades need to be in on the Weds. after we return from break.  If your child has missing work or extra credit projects, please make sure they hand them in as soon aws we return.  Report CArds will go home on that first Friday after break.

    Have a wonderful Holiday Season, and enjoy your kiddos over break.  I will be enjoying time with my daughter and Grandson!!!

    A message from CAMP ERNST MIDDLE SCHOOL
     

    CEMS Families,

    We will be assembling hygiene kits that will go to the Emergency Shelter of N. KY on December 11th. after school till 4:00. You will need to sign your student up through this sign up genius link if they wish to stay after school to help. All students will need to be picked up promptly at 4:00pm.

  • New Unit

    Today we began the unit on Fractions.  This week we will be identifying and creating fractions, and practice using the correct vocabulary.  

    Next week we will do adding and subtracting of fractions with like denominators.

    Week three we will begin multiplying and dividing of fractions with like denominators.

    Week four we will begin working with fractions with unlike denominators, and changing fractions into like denominators.

     

    Please work with your child to identify fraction examples in real life, and name them using the vocabulary; numerator/denominator.

    Continur to have your child work on learning their multiplicqtaion facts.  They can practice on-line, free at www.multiplication.com .
