How to Make Your Playlist

Requirements:

Vocabulary work on Quizlet (flash cards, play at least one game, take "test"- must show only the test to me)

Video on Content (take notes as proof of watching video)

IXL practice on Content (8/10 or better - score must equal 80% or better-16/20, 24/30 etc.)  will not accept ?

Sometimes practice problems either online or from the book

Choices:

Math Games on Content
Additional IXL

Practice Problems from the book

If the required video was by Mrs. Turner then you can choose a Khan Academy video as optional work

Step One:

Teacher will do a whole class lesson after pretest to go over vocabulary and do practice problems

Step Two:

Identify each content piece you missed and/or guessed at from the pretest

Step Three:

For each content piece you missed you have to do the required pieces (vocabulary, video, IXL, possibly practice problems)

Step Four:

Work through your required playlist parts then pick additional choices if you still feel they are necessary to master the math content

Step Five:

Request Assessment when ready or when adequate time has passed (if you are dragging your feet, teacher will assign you the test)

Example Playlist:

Student took pre-assessment on Statistical Landmarks and scored a 5 out of 12 (42%).

Student pays attention to the specific content he/she missed in the pretest as well as any they guessed on.

Student reviews pretest

Range, Mode, Median, Mean (got definition right but could not identify in set of data) were incorrect math concepts
