ProceduresForRetakingAnAssessment

If you took an assessment and did not pass with a 7/10 or above or you did pass and are not satisfied with your score then you need to do the following:

Look at what you missed and construct a new playlist based on these mistakes.

For example, if you took the adding and subtracting with decimals assessment and you scored a 7/10 on the assessment (and you want a better score) you would see which content you missed.  You missed the word sum, as well as adding and subtracting with decimals. Your playlist would be:

  • Vocabulary-Quizlet (flash cards, play a game, test)
    • Focus on Sum
  • Adding Decimals
    • Video (notes)
    • IXL- tally marks for correct amount
    • Practice Problems
  • Subtracting Decimals
    • Video (notes)
    • IXL-tally marks for correct amount
    • Practice Problems

You must have each piece of the playlist initialed by teacher as you do them before you can take assessment.

If you did not pass assessement (6/10 or lower) you are doing this work in class. You will take test until you earn a passing score (7/10 or better)

If you did pass and are just trying to up your grade, the work will be done in Advisory or at home.  You will only be able to retake test one time.
