District Code of Conduct

The 2015-2016 District Code of Conduct is now available!  As we approach the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year please take time to review it.  


US News and World Report

Cooper High School is ranked 15 out of 357 high schools in the state of Kentucky in U.S. News 2015 report.  The rankings included 50 states and the District of Columbia with over 21,000 high schools.  Schools are awarded Gold, Silver or Bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments and college readiness. Congrats to our students, teachers and parents as Cooper received a silver rating due to your outstanding commitment to Aspire.Achieve.Excel.


Schedule Pick Up

Students and parents may acquire student schedules and pay school fees on the following date:

August 6 from 9am until 12noon; 1pm until 3pm and 5pm until 7pm

Students who will be purchasing a parking pass should click the link to print out the form and bring it with them completed, to schedule pick up.  Please read the entire form thoroughly to ensure you meet the qualifications and understand the parking policy.  Students are required to bring and show their state issued driver's license, NOT a permit.  Students who need parking passes must have the parking policy; click here.  Students may view the student agenda book; click here.  Policy, dress code, calendars may be found in this document.


Camp Jag

Camp Jaguar for our incoming freshmen has been set for Friday, August 7th from 8:00-12:00 noon.

This will be a great day for your freshman student to feel more comfortable about high school, work through some of their nerves by building friendships, finding their classes, opening their locker, opportunities to get involved and many other essential things to make the transition to Cooper as smooth as possible!  Lunch and each student will be receive a Cooper t-shirt! provided by our PTSO.  This event is free.   Click here to register for this event.  For additional information email Erin Munsie.


Summer Assignments

All students have a summer assignment through their English class.  Students may have additional summer assignments in their honors or AP classes.   If you child has requested a honors or AP course, it is safe to assume they will be placed in these classes and should begin working on completing the summer assignment.  All summer assignments are due the first day of school, which is August 13th. There is an athletic dead period starting June 25th through July 9th.   During this time, coaches cannot have any contact with players.
