Academy Day

Proposed Last Day of School

Boone County Schools Superintendent Dr. Randy Poe will recommend to the Board of Education that June 3rd be the last day of the 2014 school year.  This has to be approved by the Board of Education at their upcoming meeting on April 17th.  Click here to get more information.


Graduation Date

Our graduation date has been set for Thursday, June 5 @ 7pm in the Cooper High School gymnasium based on the proposed last day of school being Tuesday, June 3. Our board of education will consider the proposal of June 3 being the last day of school at their regularly scheduled board meeting on April 17. For planning purposes, we wanted to get these dates out to you. It is subject to our board of education's approval and contingent oupon no further school closures due to inclement weather.

PE I Summer Class Offered

Do you not have the time to fit PE 1 in your class schedule?  Here is an your opportunity to receive your graduation requirement for Physical Education during the summer.  If interested complete the registration form and turn in to the guidance office by May 2nd.  Hurry spots are filling quickly!  Click here for the registration form.


Volunteer Tutoring

Students may sign up for voluntary tutoring on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. (Freshman may only sign up on Thursday or Friday) Tutoring is available in all core areas including Math, Social Studies, Science and English.
