Ryle Homecoming Parade

It is that time of the year again when Union prepares for Ryle High School’s Homecoming Parade.  The parade will begin at 6 pm on Friday, September 18th.  If you would like to enter a float/vehicle in the parade, please review the rules and then complete and submit this form (rules are on the form). Participants riding on a float or walking should be dropped off at the Mt. Zion Rd entrance to Union Baptist Church parking lot by 5:00 p.m. so that we can have everyone in place.  Only those vehicles participating in the parade will be permitted in the parking lot.  After dropping off participants, please continue on Old US 42 to Hwy 42 as Mt. Zion road will be blocked.  Those who arrive later than 5:25 p.m. will not be permitted to participate.

Skirts must be worn at the waist, be knee length without slit. Yoga pants, leggings, and “jeggings,” regardless of whether they have pockets, are prohibited, except under knee-length skirts/dresses. This prohibition includes special days in which students may be allowed to wear sweats and/or shorts.”
