Bird Houses at EES

Rex McBride, County Extension Agent for Environmental Education working through the University of Kentucky, along with NKU students came to EES. The purpose was to show our 5th graders how to build bird houses! Mr. McBride shared information about birds and why birds need different types of homes.

EES Third Grade PBL Project

The third-graders at Erpenbeck Elementary join forces to take a STAND against childhood cancer by hosting a schoolwide lemonade stand! Click on the website below to learn more about the LemonAIDES for Alex Project and how you can help! 


EES Students at City Council!

Erpenbeck students were asked to present information about  the STEAMfest Makersfair coming to Erpenbeck on  May 1 and 2, They also shared all the awesome learning they have done this year with the new NGSS Science standards. Great things are happening here at Erpenbeck!


Rain Barrel Art Project

Students from Erpenbeck Elementary have been selected to paint rain barrels as part of the second annual Rain Barrel Art Project, an initiative designed to educate the community about water conservation and pollution caused by storm water runoff. The Rain Barrel Art Project is a joint effort of SaveLocalWaters.org and the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. The participating students from the Erpenbeck Green Team are working under the leadership of art teacher, Miss Chris-Tina Fogle.

S.T.E.A.M. FEST 2015: May 1st & 2nd!

Erpenbeck Elementary will host its 2015 Maker Fair on Friday, May 1st for students to showcase their superhero abilities as they Make, Create, and Innovate. Taking the traditional science fair to the next level, students will use a combination of science, technology, engineering, math, and art to Make something to share with the school. From robots, to computer games, to finely crafted movies, join us as we celebrate the creative and critical thinking of our students.
