3rd Grade PBL Project - Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

Our third grade students participated in a PBL project to help raise money to fight cancer through the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. They created a lemonade stand and sold Lemonade to the students each day for a week. Students also created a website where community members and parents could donated to this wonderful cause. The 3rd grade students shared the many steps of planning and preparation for this project and presented a check to Dr. Poe for $3,551.65! Students were able to participate in a Google Video Chat with a child cancer survivor who is a representative of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation! We are very proud of our third graders and their teachers!
