School Supply List

2014-2015 North Pointe Elementary School Supply List

It's that time again!

I am excited about the upcoming school year! We have an amazing journey ahead of us, but we will need to be equipped for the experience with a few supplies. If you cannot provide these for your child, please contact your child's teacher to make sure that they have the necessary supplies to be successful from day one.

Your child will be expected to have these basic supplies available for use in class every day, please! (Time spent looking for misplaced or missing items costs us valuable instructional minutes, andis a distraction to learning, so please check with your child periodically during the year to assure theneeded items are always available. Thank you!!)

Bring Your Own Technology

North Pointe Elementary

As new technologies continue to change the world in which we live, they also provide many new and positive educational benefits for classroom instruction.  21st century learning (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity) is essential for today’s students.  Boone County Schools is pleased to offer students the opportunity to bring their own technology to school as a tool to assist in the 21st century classroom.  This is not a requirement.  Students who do not bring their own technology will have access to the school’s equipment.  Students will be not left out of instruction.

North Pointe has officially entered the BYOT rollout phase to 3rd-5th grade.  In order for your child to bring their device to school, 2 things MUST take place.

+First,  student and guardian must fill out, sign,  and acknowledge the usage agreement found here.

+Second, student must have achieved a proficiency rating of 70% or above on all components of digital citizenship found on the Digital Passport website.
