Thank you and congratulations to the newly formed TES Student News Team! This creative group of students is led by our very own Mr. Ryan Burch. The team works on bringing us weekly episodes of “This Week at Thornwilde.” The news features a “Meet the Teacher” segment, a “This Week in History” feature and reviews the activities for the week! GREAT JOB WILDCATS!

Top Cat Awards

We are so excited to announce the launch of our new Top CAT Award here at TES! The Top CAT honor will be bestowed upon students who continuously demonstrate their CATS pride in and out of the classroom. Each month, your child’s teacher will select a student or students whom they feel have gone above and beyond in modeling the behavior of a star student.

Brrrr...It's cold out there!

With the frigid temperatures, it is VERY IMPORTANT that students are dressed appropriately for the weather! Please be sure you send your child to school in their warm winter coat with gloves, hats, scarves, etc. We want to keep them safe and warm!


Colonial Fair a HUGE Success!

Before Winter Break the 5th grade held their annual Colonial Day fair. For an entire month students studied about Native Americans, Colonial Williamsburg, Slavery, Explorers and Colonial Trades. The Colonial Fair is a social studies activity in which students display their research about a trade in the form of a “store front.”

TES Chorus closes out Winter Season

The TES Chorus closed out their Winter Concert Tour with a Holiday Concert at TES in front of the student body.  They had previously performed at Joseph Beth in Crestview and Union Terminal in Cincinnati.  They are directed by Music Teacher, Tim Mitchell.
