CHS Talent Show

Auditions for the annual CHS Talent Show will take place on Friday, September 11th from 4:00pm to 9:00pm in the Auditorium. Callbacks will be held on September 16th and 17th, if needed.

Interested students may sign up outside of the choir room, which is located across from the small gym. All students are welcome to try out!"


Join FCCLA (Family, Career, & Community Leaders of America) today!! Membership fee is $25.  This includes an awesome T-shirt!  See Ms. Cox in room 108 for more details.

Items Not Accepted by Front Office

Parents and Students:  The main office is not permitted to accept several items such as Athletic Clothing, Athletic Equipment, Band Instruments, Band Uniforms, Field Trip Money and Food Items for School Projects or Special Occasions, Click HERE for a complete list of items not accepted.

Robotics Club

Robotics Club will be meeting after school on Wednesdays from 2:30 - 4:00 in Room 221. If you are interested in joining or have any other questions, please see Mr. Barker.

Freshman Leadership League

Freshmen Leadership League members posted on Mr. Jones door, room 207. First mandatory meeting for Leadership League will be held on September 16th in room 207. All members are expected to attend!

Art Club

Last chance to join Conner's Art Club is Tuesday,September 8th. Make sure you attend so you can start building an amazing portfolio. 

Picture Day

Students and Parents:  Picture day by Lifetouch will take place on Wednesday, September 9th during 1st and 2nd Blocks.  Please mark your calendar!  Picture day packets and payment information will be distributed during 2nd block and sent home the week of September 2nd.  Please send payment with your child on picture day.  Payments are not permitted to be dropped off in the main office. Students will receive an official student I.D. after picture day.

FFA Freshman Leadership Conference

Any Freshmen interested in attending the FFA Freshmen Leadership Conference, $15 is due by THIS FRIDAY THE 4TH! The cost covers lunch and a tshirt.

FFA dues can be paid in room 112 before school.

A $50 deposit for FFA National Convention is required. We have 11 spots left. First come first serve.

If you would like to purchase a FFA tshirt the cost is $12 see Ms. Gripshover in room 112.

Senior Pictures by Prestige

Class of 2016 don't miss the opportunity to have your senior picture taken by Prestige.  This will allow you to choose a wide selection of poses and portraits.  Please contact Prestige at 859-578-0110 to make an appointment as soon as possible.  The deadline for senior portraits is Wednesday, September 23rd.

September Club Days

Clubs Days are scheduled for Wednesday, September 2nd and Tuesday, September 22nd.  Teachers will be given a list of clubs meeting prior to club days.

All college visits are open to Juniors and Seniors and are held from 10:15 - 10:55 in Rm. 116, unless otherwise noted.  Sign-ups must be in advance, to sign up, see Ms. Aylor in Guidance.

Teens on Wheels

Teens on Wheels is a saftey program for students ages 15-19. This will be held at Boone County Cooperative extension Service Enrichment Center at 1995 Burlington Pike, Burlington on September 19, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. Click Here for more details and registration form.

Microsoft Student Advantage Program

As part of our district licensing agreement, Microsoft has announced the Microsoft Student Advantage Program.  This program allows students in our district to install Office products on up to 5 devices – FREE.  Information on how students can download this free software is available here and it is linked off the Technology Department page of the district website.

Conner High School recycles ink and laser toner cartridges, cell phones, iPods/mp3 players, laptops, digital cameras, and gps devices. Unfortunately we cannot accept copy machine cartridges at this time. Contact Debbie Slusher if you have empty cartridges to donate.
