NHS Applications

Congratulations to those students invited to apply to National Honor Society.  Any sophomore or junior with a GPA  of 3.5 or higher, that didn’t receive an invitation, please see Mrs. Garey in room 107.  Applications are due by 3:00 on March 20th, late applications will not be accepted.  Again, congratulations to all who have achieved this impressive academic standing.

ASVAB Rescheduled

The ASVAB scheduled for Wednesday, March 4th has been postponed.  As soon as a future date is determined it will be posted.  See Mr. Ford if you have questions.

Distinguished Choir Students

Congratulations to the following Choir students who each earned a rating of "Distinguished" for their solo performances at the KMEA Vocal Solo & Ensemble Festival this past Saturday:  Kendra Darby, Lacey Gerdes, Jacob Hagedorn, Danielle Montgomery, Ellie Neiheisel, Kevin Owens, Samantha Potter and Natalie Ward.

And to the following for earning a Distinguished rating for their Quartet performance:  Zach Mason, Elijah Schmitt, Dakota Kearns and Kevin Owens.

Matt Repka Chosen for an Overture Award!

Please share in congratulating Matthew Repka for being chosen for an Overture Award in Instrumental Music!

Matt has performed in percussion for 7 years. He has participated in the Kentucky All-State Bands, Northern Kentucky Select Bands, Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the Fillmore Wind Band. He has been the Percussion Captain for the CHS Marching Band and has been recognized for his musical achievements by the Boone County Board of Education.

Extra Senior Shirts

We have a few extra Senior Shirts for Sale. If you are interested in purchasing any of these senior shirts, give your name to Mrs. Wood, upstairs in Mr. Shearer’s office - the shirts are already here, so these are first come, first served. Put your name on the list for the shirt you want and bring your money in the next day. The shirts available are:

Short Sleeve white tshirt sizes Small, Medium, & Large- $16
Hoodie white sweatshirt size Medium - $28

Passport discounts DO apply.

Student Drivers

All cars need to be removed from the student parking lot everyday by 2:45 so baseball and softball can practice. 

2015-2016 Dual Credit Information

Attention Sophomores and Juniors:

Paperwork is now available for students interested in participating in a Dual Credit program for 2015-16. Stop by Guidance to pick up the appropriate packet for the program in which you are interested. Applications are due back to Guidance by March 9th -- we will be marking the return date and time on all applications in case there are more applicants than spaces available. Any questions -- see Guidance.

Special Announcements


From March 4th – March 25th, your child will have the opportunity to complete a survey at school called the Kentucky Student Voice Survey. This confidential survey allows students the opportunity to give feedback on specific aspects of his or her classroom experience. Students may take the survey in one or more of their teacher’s classrooms. It will be conducted during school hours only.
If for some reason you do NOT want your child to participate in the Student Voice Survey, please sign and return this form to the main office by March 1, 2015.

Microsoft Student Advantage Program

As part of our district licensing agreement, Microsoft has announced the Microsoft Student Advantage Program.  This program allows students in our district to install Office products on up to 5 devices – FREE.  Information on how students can download this free software is available here and it is linked off the Technology Department page of the district website.

Any student parking on campus MUST

  • Have a valid parking sticker
  • Park in their assigned space
  • Enter the building upon arrival, no loitering in the lot
  • Move their car from the student lot prior to 2:45 pm
    Any student parking on campus w/o permission will be in violation.

Conner High School recycles ink and laser toner cartridges, cell phones, iPods/mp3 players, laptops, digital cameras, and gps devices. Unfortunately we cannot accept copy machine cartridges at this time. Contact Debbie Slusher if you have empty cartridges to donate.
