Day of Play 5K Run/Walk

Come join us for the Boone County Schools Day of Play 5K Run/Walk Presented by the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council on Saturday September 27th at Idlewild Park in Burlington.  Zumba will kick things off at 8:45am with the 5K Run/Walk beginning at 9:00am  There will also be family activities and a health fair until 11:30am after the race.  Come join us for the full morning of play!  Online registration is open until September 20th.

Friday, 8/29, is a Red day for Unified Arts.

Coding Club will begin on Sept. 3rd. No experience or sign up required to join.

REMINDER CHORUS STUDENTS: All chorus forms and money are due no later than this Friday (August 29). Don’t forget to turn those in to Mrs. Bertelsen.

6th Grade Academic team tryouts are next Tuesday & Wednesday, 9/2 & 9/3 from 2:45 – 4 PM in Room #209.  Student’s need to be prepared to take a 1 hour test & only need to attend one day for their tryout on either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Colts Care membership form and money are due to Mrs. Cobble or Mrs. Crum by this Friday. No forms will be accepted after Friday.

Tuesday, September 2nd is Kona Ice day at CMS!  Details coming soon!

Remember to bring a parent or doctor note when returning to school from an absence.  8th grade students turn notes in to Mrs. Brann in the 8th grade office and 6th & 7th turn notes in to Mrs. Volz in the Main Office.

The Coding Club will meet every Wednesday in the CMS library from 2:45-3:30.

There will be Girls open gyms for basketball - (all grades girls ) will be 9/9 & 9/22   from 6-7:30.  The 6th grade girls only will be 9/16 & 9/29 from 3-4.   If you plan to attend, please be dressed appropriately.

Math Counts will meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month beginning Thursday, September 11 from 3:00-3:45 in room 105.
