Dunk Some of Your District Favorites For A Great Cause

First Church of Christ is partnering with the Boone County Alliance during the Boone County Fair (August 4-9) to raise money for Heroin prevention in local schools.   You can purchase three balls for one dollar and dunk some of your favorite people in the community to raise money to fight this epidemic in Northern Kentucky.  The goal is to raise $3,000.  The schedule highlights for the district include:

  • Monday 8/4 - Stephens Elementary Principal Mr. Detwiler 6:00pm - 8:00pm.  Boone County Schools Superintendent Dr. Randy Poe 8:00pm - 10:00pm.
  • Thursday 8/7 - Boone County Schools Executive Director of Student and Community Services Kathy Reutman 6:00pm - 8:00pm.  Boone County Schools Board Member Dr. Maria Brown 8:00pm - 10:00pm.
  • Saturday 8/9 - North Pointe Elementary Principal Mr. Shires - 2:00pm - 4:00pm.

Schedule Pick-Up

Schedule pick-up will be held on Thursday, August 7 from 1:30 - 6 p.m.  Parents will pay fees ($60 full, $20 for reduced lunch recipients, or $0 for free lunch recipients), receive school schedule, transportation information, team name and supply list, purchase supply pack (optional), purchase spiritwear (optional), tour the building. 

Unable to make it on the 7th?  Homeroom lists will be posted in the hallway and schedules will be provided in homerooms the first day of school. 

Be sure all immunization are turned in and updated (if needed) before schedule pick-up day. 

Student Announcements

8th Grade Students going to Kings Island – Be at CMS on Friday at 8:30 AM.  The bus leaves promptly at 9 AM & will return back to school at approximately 10:45 PM.

Students who have lunch charges will not be able to participate in the dance today.  Please make sure all charges are paid!

PTSO will be selling concessions at the dance.  Be sure to bring money to purchase concessions.

Fliers are available in the Main Office for the local/regional track meet being held at Cooper HS on Thursday, June 12.

Fliers are available in the Main Office for “Let’s Move” at the Florence Government Center on June 21.

8th Grade Students - Fliers are available in the Main Office for the Conner High School Archery Club.

Any students interested in Summer running opportunities or running cross country next Fall, there will be a meeting this Friday.  The meeting will be right after school at Conner High School in room 117.  The meeting is for students going into the 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grade.  See Mr. Blankenship for further details.

Conner Men’s basketball is having a basketball camp this summer for all middle school boys.  Please pick up forms in the main office. 

Fliers are available in the Main Office for Ryle H.S. cheer mini camp for girls grades K-8th.

Be sure to come to Conner Middle’s Archery Camp this June.  Details and camp forms are in the main office.  The camp is limited to the first 60 that get their forms and money into the office so hurry!
