Super Saturday

Super Saturdays encourages students in grades 1 – 8 who are of high ability or have high interest in a topic to pursue their passions outside the regular classroom. Through a hands-on, minds-on approach to learning, students explore and investigate math, art, science, history, writing, music and performance under the thoughtful guidance of experienced teachers and in the company of enthusiastic, like–minded peers.  For more information see or email

Day of Play 5K Run/Walk

Come join us for the Boone County Schools Day of Play 5K Run/Walk Presented by the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council on Saturday September 27th at Idlewild Park in Burlington.  Zumba will kick things off at 8:45am with the 5K Run/Walk beginning at 9:00am  There will also be family activities and a health fair until 11:30am after the race.  Come join us for the full morning of play!  Online registration is open until September 20th.

Friday, 9/26, is a RED day for Unified Arts.

Please check the stage in the cafeteria for lost & found items.  They will be donated to the Salvation Army this Wednesday.

Kona Ice will be at CMS on Thursday, 9/25, during lunch.

Archery practice Wednesday, September 24th is cancelled due to staff development.

Anyone interested in wrestling for Conner High School needs to report to preseason workouts beginning Tuesday, September 23 at the high school weight room immediately after school.  All questions regarding the wrestling program should be emailed to Wayne Badida.

Are you into Yugioh or Pokemon?  If so, join the CMS Yugioh Club.  The first meeting will be held on Friday, September 19th in the library from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  See you there!
