JMS Game Night JMSPTSA

SAVE THE DATE: Jones Family Game Night!

We are excited to have the school support us in hosting this awesome event! Help us to make an impact at Jones by joining us to set our bylaws, become a PTSA member, and if you're feeling adventurous, then sign up to be elected to the board!

Some of you might say you work: that's okay, so do we, so we completely understand! So help on your schedule, when you can, do whatever you can 💚

You have young children at home still: Bring them with you! We ALWAYS have our kids with us!

Ooorrr our FAVORITE: your child may not like to see you at events or programs because they officially find you to be embarrassing: I promise you all in 10 years, when your child looks back on these years, they're not going to be thinking about that, they are going to be looking for those memories where you were there 🥰

So let's do this, let's make something beautiful and show the students and staff at Jones that parents are involved and want to be apart of the magic being made at Jones this year 🤩😎🥳

If you have questions regarding the board positions you may message us through here or you can email us at: RAJones.PTSA@Gmail.com

DISCLOSURE: Jones PTSA is currently pending on its active status, but has permission by State PTA to open its Facebook page in order to recruit. Thank you!

Tobacco Free tobacco free

In 2019, the Kentucky legislature passed HB11, a statewide 100% Tobacco Free School bill. 100% Tobacco Free Schools prohibit tobacco use, including vapor products and alternative nicotine products, by staff, students and visitors 24 hours a day, seven days a week, inside Board-owned buildings or vehicles, on school owned property and during school-sponsored events, trips and activities. The primary goals of these policies include reducing exposure to secondhand smoke and encouraging tobacco users to consume less of the addictive product.
The more significant long-term effect of these policies, however, is to reduce youth tobacco use by reducing student exposure to tobacco use as an acceptable behavior by role models important to their development. For additional information about tobacco free schools, visit the Tobacco Free Schools website.
