Hi! My name is Ms. Scheper and I’m going to be your 4th grade teacher! This will be my ninth year teaching, and my eighth year here at Burlington Elementary! I’m so happy to be teaching here at BES since I was a student here when I was your age! I love teaching and am so excited for all the fun we will have together this school year!
I grew up in Burlington with my sweet mom and dad, and have two wacky brothers named Chadd and Lucas, and one goofy sister named Emily. You may have heard of my mom, Mrs. K. Scheper… she is also a teacher here at BES! She teaches 5th grade, so you might have her in class next year! I also have a REALLY LAZY cat named Ms. Kitty… her two favorite things are sleeping and eating and a CRAZY Jack-a-bee dog named Ella who loves to play!
I have my undergrad college degree from Northern Kentucky University and a master’s degree in education from University of the Cumberlands. I am so glad to be able to use all the cool ideas I have learned in college and bring them to you!
This year, I will be teaching you English Language Arts (ELA), Math, and Science, while Mrs. Bitter will be your Social Studies teacher. I can’t wait to help you become a better reader, writer, mathematician and scientist! I am ecstatic to be able to take you on some fabulous learning adventures this year!
I can’t wait to spend the year learning and growing with you! Welcome to 4th grade!
