PTSO 2021

Please see below for an important message from our PTSO President, Jenny Murray:

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week and PTSO would like to deliver treats to the staff on their "Woot Woot!" cart!  We are asking for snack & soda donations to be dropped off to the front office this week (attn. Emily Martin).  Favorites include Little Debbie style snacks, chips, granola bars and cans of soda.  Thank you!

Attention all 2021-22 Conner Cougar Parents!  It is time for Conner High to elect 2 SBDM parent representatives for the 2021-22 school year.  The SBDM (School-Based Decision Making) Council includes parents, teachers, and an administrator of the school.  School councils have the responsibility to set school policy and make decisions outlined in statute, which should provide an environment to enhance student achievement.  Typically, the SBDM Council meetings are the second Thursday of every month at 3:30 and rarely are there summer meetings.  It is a 1yr term, but a current parent representative can opt to run again.  Parent Members. * A parent council member shall be a parent, step-parent, legal guardian or foster parent with whom the student resides, pre-registered in the school and shall not be the relative of a school employee. Relative shall mean father, mother, brother, sister, husband, wife, son, daughter, aunt, uncle or son-in-law. A parent council member shall not be a school employee or school board member or spouse.

PTSO will manage the election process, led by the 2021-22 PTSO President Jenny Murray.  She will be taking nominations via email through this Sunday 5/2 and then contacting nominees for a short bio.  On Monday 5/3 we will share a link to a Google form to vote for 2 representatives.  Voting will continue for the school week before being tallied & announced.

To nominate yourself, or someone else who is willing to serve on the council, please email your/their name to Jenny Murray at
