What is NTI?

NTI stands for Non-Traditional Instruction.  The document linked below will answer many questions parents may have about NTI.

Updated:  04/02/2020: The Governor has officially announced we will be in NTI until 5/1/2020.  This is not a firm date.  It could extend out even further as he evaluates what he feels is necessary to keep all Kentuckians safe.  At this time, Ithere are no updates to CHS events other than to say if they were scheduled prior to 5/1/2020 they are cancelled.  Our district are constantly evaluating events that we hope to have.

Remember, we still have spring break from 4/6-4/10.  There will be no NTI taking place that week. Please pay attention to safety guidelines that are being put out (some are linked in our NTI pages), and take care of yourselves.

Updated:  3/31/2020:  The food stops currently being utilized to provide food for our students will have additional meals on Thursday (April 2nd) and Friday (April 3rd).  We will provide additional meals on these days in effort to meet the nutritional needs of our students over Boone County Schools’ spring break.

Please continue to call your school’s food manager to reserve your daily meal so we can provide the accurate amount of meals at each stop.  Boone County Schools will NOT transport food to the community during the week of spring break, (April 6th-10th).  Additional meals will be provided on Thursday and Friday in effort to support food needs during our spring break.

You will no longer be able to pick up meals at your students schools beginning Wednesday 3/18/20. Families will still need to call ahead to help us know how many meals to prepare for each location.
Our buses will be delivering breakfast and lunch to the locations and times listed on the links below according to the district you live ..

District 2 delivery schedule

Please remember, ALL students that come to a location will be served a meal. This is not for just students that are on free and reduced lunch programs. A child can be served at any location in the district.

Since the majority of student work will now be completed through CANVAS, we are providing a link to the CANVAS PARENT APP INSTRUCTIONS.  Parents, during this time please be aware of your student's class participation by using this app.

Many, many companies are coming out with free offers.  Please use caution and completely vet those free offers.  Not all of the free offers have the best interest of schools and children in mind.  It is very tempting to want to try out that next new, shiny tool or free service.  Proceed with caution.  This will be prime opportunity to disclose personal information to vendors only looking to exploit that information.  Spectrum free wifi offer
