College Visits

CERT Test

Sophomores will be taking a CERT test throughout the year

The CERT test is a benchmark assessment and is helpful in preparing students for optimal success on the ACT exam.  The CERT test is an ACT-like exam with tests in English, Math, Reading, and Science and will feature a detailed summary of each student’s performance. Students and their teachers will have access to online tutorials that address individual student needs.  It is worth noting that a typical ACT Prep course can cost as much as $250.  The CERT program is being provided by the Boone County School District to our students and provides practice throughout the years leading up to the ACT taken in the junior year of high school.  This is a wonderful opportunity for students to begin increasing their future ACT scores as freshmen and sophomores!
