Summer Digital Literacy:
There are still openings for the 2020 summer session of Digital Literacy at Ryle.  This course will be taught virtually online with the teacher being available during certain school hours for conferences. Fee is $150.  If interested, register here.  Registration and payments must be submitted by May 20.

June ACT:
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ryle will NOT serve as a testing site for ACT on June 13. Examinees scheduled for this facility will be re-assigned to another site by ACT.

Students who are moving from the district and who wish to keep the documents that are stored on their school Google drive or school One Drive should follow the attached instructions.

To Ryle students and families:

We hope you are doing well. The English department just wanted to reach out and let you know that this summer Ryle is canceling our required summer reading assignment for all students. We don’t want to add any extra stress to students and families during this uncertain time. We are, though, encouraging all of our students to pick up a good book for escape and enjoyment. There is no required assignment, though.

If you or your families need access to the Boone County public library’s resources, here is a message from their staff –   "Here are the instructions for the Instant Digital Library Card : BCPL's buildings might be closed but Kentucky Libraries Unbound, our eBook collection, is always available. Go to your app store and choose either the Overdrive app or the Libby app. If you use one iOS or an Android device, we recommend trying Libby. It's a great one-device experience. If you like to read books on many devices, or prefer to browse for new titles on your computer, stick with the OverDrive app for now. Just follow the directions in the app, choose Boone County Public Library and input your Library card number. Don’t have a card? You can now get an instant Digital Library Card with your cell phone number when you open the Overdrive or Libby app! "

If you have any questions or need any book recommendations, feel free to contact Nichole Schwartz, English team leader, at
