This is my first year teaching at Ryle. For the last nine years I taught junior and seniors at Cooper. This is my 17th year of teaching; before Cooper, I taught at Holmes High School. I love teaching here and I really like teaching juniors. Junior year is challenging in the aspect that you have the ACT, several state tests, and the On Demand test to worry about. It is nice though because by junior year most of you have matured past your freshman ways, and you usually don’t begin developing senioritis until around spring break. Personally, I think junior year is the most important year, but I’m a little biased since I teach juniors.
Personally, my husband and I have been married for 16 years. We have two daughters: Mackenzie is 12 and is in 7th grade at Ballyshannon, and Dakota is 9 and is in 4th grade at Longbranch. We just moved to Hebron last year. We have an 11 month old Great Dane/ English Mastiff puppy who one day will be a small pony.
