My name is Jude Hoffman. The 2019-2020 school year will be my 22nd year of teaching, all at Conner Middle School!  This will be my second year back in seventh grade after four wonderful years as a sixth grade Clydesdale math teacher.  I have taught fifteen years in seventh grade previously, as well as one year in eighth grade.  I recognize there is always more to learn from students and colleagues and I am excited for this upcoming year.  I am looking forward to working with the Shire team and getting to know the students.

I grew up in Kenton County, graduated from Covington Catholic HS, earned my Bachelor of Arts from Thomas More College and my Masters and Rank 1 Certification in Education from Northern Kentucky University.  My beautiful wife, Julie, and I are blessed with three wonderful children, Maddux, Ivy, and Nile.

With the new school year, I look forward to helping students set goals and implementing learning strategies to guide students to reach those goals.  As with all of us, our passions drive us, I look forward to knowing the interests of my students and work in positive ways to help them grow and develop successfully.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing with my kids and watching them play sports, running to stay in shape and race, and playing chess.  I have ran in the Columbus Marathon - 2015, 2018, Monumental Marathon - 2016, ORRRC Marathon - 2017, 2019 Carmel Marathon - 2018, and Cincinnati Flying Pig - 2018, 2019.  This past summer, I ran 45 miles throughout the night for my 45 birthday; it was quite an epic adventure.
