Boone County Schools 2020 Superintendent Search Survey Questions
The intent of this survey is to gather input from the community concerning qualities and attributes of Boone County Schools’ Superintendent candidates. In this very important quest for the Boone County Board of Education, the members would like to hear from various stakeholders concerning the candidate criteria to be considered.
If you would like to participate in the survey, simply fill in the attached survey and drop off at your school, the front reception desk at the District Office or mail to Boone County Board of Education, 8330 US 42, Florence, KY 41042. You may also complete the online survey accessible via the following link https://tinyurl.com/bcssuperintendentsurvey by January 29th, 2020 at 4:00pm.
Spanish, French, and Arabic survey translation forms are also available at each school. You may return the completed survey to your school or the district office.
The Board of Education members for The Boone County School District looks forward to responses from our community, parents, guardians, and students.
Please be aware that blankets are not permitted at any time during the school day. Keep all blankets at home.
Please congratulate Mrs. Saint-Blancard and Mrs. Chapman on being named Teacher and Staff Member of the month for December. When you see them, please be sure to congratulate them. We appreciate all that you both do!
The SBDM Meetings are:
· March 12, 2020
· April 9, 2020
· May 14, 2020
· June 11, 2020
They are in the Media Center at 4:30 pm on those dates.
Each grade level of teachers will begin offering After School Office Hours for students who need additional
help in Science, Math, English, and Geography. Office hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:30-3:30pm beginning on Tuesday, October 1st. Parents will need to provide transportation home at 3:30pm. Teachers can not leave until all students are picked up. Students are not required to stay for office hours, nor are they required to stay every day, if they choose to take part in our Office Hours. As a matter of fact, they may choose to stay each day, based on their individual
needs. If they plan to stay, students will be responsible for notifying their parents and confirming their transportation home.
Students need signed permission in order to stay for office hours. Please sign and return the bottom portion of this form if you will allow your child to stay after school for Office Hours at any time this year. We would like for every student to have this form on file in case they decide to stay. No student will be allowed to stay for office hours without having this signed form on file. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s team leader. Click here for the permission slip. The last day of Office Hours for this school year will be Thursday, May 7th.
