The Boone County Transportation Department provides bus service for students residing within the school district. By maintaining high standards of training, vehicle maintenance and professional conduct, we are dedicated to providing our students the safest possible environment as they are in transit to and from school.
If you are a new parent to the Boone County School District, welcome! Your first step to obtain transportation for your student(s) is to visit the school for the Student Transportation Form. Once the form is completed and given to the school office, they will provide the form to the Transportation Department. We will need 48 hours to place your student(s) on a route so she/he can begin riding the bus.
To the right are the links for the Transportation Department. You can find your students bus information by clicking on the Bus Route Locator, filling in your student’s address and grade and clicking the Reset Button.
TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR RIDE!! PBIS is used in the Transportation Department to provide a safe and positive environment for all students, drivers and aides. Elementary, Middle and High School students receive Pride Cards when they display positive behavior on the bus. Pre-school and Kindergarten students receive stickers for their role in positive behavior. Click the Parent or the Special Needs Transportation Guide link on the right to review the expectations with your student(s).
