Dear Collins Families and Community,
Welcome to the new school year! I’m excited and grateful to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal at Collins Elementary. Many of you may recognize me, as I’ve had the privilege of serving our school in various roles over the past few years. Collins already feels like home to me, and I’m honored to step into this new position and continue supporting the students, families, and staff who make this such a special place.
I’ve been dedicated to the field of education for fifteen years, working with students and colleagues across all elementary grade levels, in a variety of roles. I hold a Master’s Degree in Literacy from Eastern Kentucky University, and an Educational Specialist Degree from Northern Kentucky University. I truly believe education is a lifelong process, and I’m excited to continue learning and growing alongside you, your family, and our school community.
As Assistant Principal, I’m committed to fostering a school environment where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered to thrive. I believe in strong partnerships between home and school, clear and open communication, and doing what’s best for children.
