The Seal of Biliteracy is a recognition by Boone County Schools for graduating with a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, listening, and writing in one or more languages in addition to English.
To earn the Seal of Biliteracy, graduating high school seniors must demonstrate proficiency in English and one of the following languages through the AAPPL or STAMP Assessment:
American Sign Language
Arabic
Chinese (Mandarin)
French
German
Italian
Japanese
Korean
Portuguese
Russian
Spanish
