Today, on this 25th anniversary of 911 many of our schools held events or taught subject matter in remembrance. At Ballyshannon Middle School today they held their annual Memorial Stair Climb, an activity created by history teacher Kevin Daily. The purpose is to climb the equivalent of 22-hundred steps that represent the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. As you see in the pictures students, administrators and other district guests went up and down those steps in Bally's courtyard. Those who completed 79 loops of flights up and down, climbed the equivalent of 110 stories of the World Trade Center.
